Opportunities to work in a natural environment and to take part in the Exhibitions 2013/2014

 

 

The International residency Arte Studio Ginestrelle lies in the hills of the Regional Park of Mount Subasio, near the historic town of Assisi (UNESCO World Heritage site), famous for its fresco by Giotto and Cimabue.

The fantastic landscape offers inspiration to all and subject matter to others (natural materials such as stone and wood may be made available).

the International Contemporary Exhibitionof all the works created during the residencies will be shown at the prestigious Art Gallery in Assisi,  November 30 – December 8, 2013.

Disciplines: Literary Arts, Visual Arts, Environmental Arts, Design, Architecture, Curating/Research, Film, Video, Music, Performing Arts

Availability for accommodation in single room (for individual artist) and in double room (for couple of artists/colleagues).

the residency fee includes Bed&Breakfast accommodation in single/double room, electricity, water, heating and cleaning.

We usually write invitation letters for the selected artists. Please, contact us for the residency fee and invitation letters.

Arte Studio Ginestrelle offers the use of a number of common spaces and facilities:

• studio

• work and exhibition spaces

• refurbished barns adapted as workspaces

• kitchen

• living room

• internet wireless connection

• some organic foods such as olive-oil, vegetables and fruit are also included according to season

• natural materials such as stone and wood may also be made available
